All my teachers in P.S. 101Q have always pushed me up farther in order for me to increase my cognitive abilities. However, the teacher that truly nurtured my abilities and skills to prevail in academics will always be in my memory. Mrs. Sawicki, my current teacher really improved my math, writing, and reading skills in a special way. She brings me books that concerned history, epidemiology, mysteries and any other kind of book that would increase my vocabulary words and give me information about different ways to write. My teacher also found or made up harder math problems for me to do in my free time to train my academic skill. In addition, Mrs. Sawicki urges me to start reading classics that are written in the original way they were published like Great Expectations. Moreover, she understands how we feel whenever random occurrences happen. This connection between us allows us to interact and help each other. Mrs. Sawicki always cares deeply about our education and finds unique ways of teaching. She always managed to get me on a laptop or computer in case I wanted to do research on a specific topic or find out about more information worldwide. She is truly one great teacher!
