My name is Brett Clark and I attended Francis Lewis High School  from 2002-2006. There was one teacher there who stood out, Christina Vittiglio. She taught our junior level Pre-AP English class by treating us as equals and respecting us as young adults and not babying us like so many teachers do. In turn, each and every one of us came to class eager to hear what Ms. V had to say. I never learned more than I did from Ms. V. She was an incredible educator; she made our class an amazing experience and I was saddened to move up a grade. After her class, I decided to apply to a 5 year teaching program, hoping to become a high school English teacher, as well.
