I'd like to thank Ms. Yvette White the pre-kindergarten teacher from P.S. 384 in Brooklyn and her paraprofessional Ms. Desiree Mendez. They were my daughter's first "official" teachers and they made her transition into the world of education very rewarding. In spite of whatever other obstacles they encountered in the school, they were both always highly committed to their students. They are both warm, encouraging and always strived to have their students reach their highest potential. I am especiallly thankful for all of the wonderful projects and pictures that my daughter came home with. They helped me to capture her first year in school and are mementos that we will always have.
Thank you Ms. White and Ms. Mendez for having bolstered my daughter's love of learning and excitement about going to school. This is something that I am eternally grateful for.
