Career Fairs

The Office of Teacher Recruitment and Quality will be hosting several career fairs during the summer months to assist new teachers in securing a school-based teaching position.  These events provide invited guests the chance to meet directly with hiring representatives from a variety of schools across New York City.

As attendance at these fairs is by invitation only, you must have submitted a completed application to be considered.  Please see below for application submission deadlines for each of our upcoming events.  Applications received after the deadline will be reviewed in the order in which they were received.

July 17:  Citywide Elementary and Secondary Career Fair
You must have submitted a completed application by July 1st for priority consideration.

July 21:  Bronx Career Fair for Bronx Schools
You must have submitted a completed application by July 1st for priority consideration.

August 12:  Citywide Elementary and Secondary Career Fair
You must have submitted a completed application by August 1st for priority consideration.

August 28:  Citywide Elementary and Secondary Career Fair
You must have submitted a completed application by August 1st for priority consideration.

If the deadline for priority consideration for one of the above events has already passed, we do recommend submitting your completed application as soon as possible as we may have limited attendance spots available as the event approaches.
