The Learning to Work program provides students an opportunity to make connections to post-secondary education and employment opportunities.
Learning to Work (LTW) is an in-depth job readiness and career exploration program designed to enhance the academic component of select Young Adult Borough Centers and transfer high schools. The goals of Learning to Work are to assist students in overcoming some of the obstacles that impede their progress toward a high school diploma and lead them toward rewarding post-secondary employment and educational experiences. Learning to Work will offer academic support, career and educational exploration, work preparation, skills development, and internships.
Students must be enrolled at one of the Young Adult Borough Centers or transfer schools where Learning to Work is offered to participate in the program.
