Information on the Extended Time Sessions for New York City Public Schools.

Starting on February 6th, 2006, most schools will have a 6 hour and 20 minute schedule for all students, followed by 37 1/2-minute sessions for some students Monday through Thursday. "The new schedule applies to all grades K-12. Pre-Kindergarten schedules will remain the same. Pre-Kindergarten students will not participate in extended time sessions."
