Energy Conservation Poster Contest Winners

For the fifth year, the NYC DOE Office of Sustainability hosted an Energy Conservation Artwork Contest! Students created artwork that best illustrated how energy can be saved through efficency and conservation in our schools. The contest was open to all NYC DOE schools (including charters) from all grade levels (K-12).

Fifteen pieces of original art were selected that best illustrate how the school community can take action. Over 600 students from all five boroughs and all grade levels submitted artwork.  The winners are grouped by age level; 5 Elementary, 5 Middle Schools and 5 High School. Prizes will be awarded to all 15 winners at an award ceremony on June 17, 2016.

A calendar will be produced using the winning pieces of artwork which will be available for request in Septemeber.

Many thanks to all the students who submitted artwork and congratulations to the 15 winners! Click on the winner's name to view their artwork.
