Bernadette and Margery
I watched as Margery brought varied and practiced skills into her role as Assistant Principal at
P.S. 503. The teachers perceived Margery to be both a role model and a resource. Under her
guidance many of our teachers were able to deepen their understanding of how to teach and lead.
She understands that it takes true collaboration between the families, teachers and administrators
to create a successful school. She has a clear vision of what a child needs to succeed in the 21st century and was very ready for the next stage in her career, as the founding principal of a new school.
