    Sara came to The Brooklyn Latin School in 2008 as a New Leaders resident, and it was immediately
obvious to me that she had the qualities of an excellent principal, namely a superb work ethic, a deep
knowledge of teaching and learning, and the ability to lead adults. When Sara became our Assistant
Head Master, she helped to grow our school community from 181 students to over 500 students.
She has been the driving force behind our strong culture, high level of teaching and student achievement,
and our operational systems. Her background, talents, and experience made Sara a natural choice for
the role of founding principal for a new New York City high school.
