The Department of Education (DOE) is proposing to rezone the area surrounding a new school (11XTBD), which will open in September 2013, in an effort to create a new zone for the school and alleviate overcrowding at P.S. 105 during the 2013-14 school year*. The map of current and proposed rezoning lines for this plan can be found here.
Additionally the DOE is proposing to create a zone for P.S. 567, a new elementary school which opened in 2012. Creating a zone for this elementary school will also help alleviate overcrowding at P.S. 194. The map of current and proposed rezoning lines for this plan can be found here.
