PRESENTED: Midtown East Rezoning

Proposal Information

The Department of Education (DOE) is proposing to rezone the area surrounding a new school (P.S. 281), which will open in September 2013, in an effort to create a new zone for the school and reduce wait lists at nearby schools during the 2013-14 school year*. 

The Community Education Council for District 2 will vote on this proposed rezoning plan at an upcoming meeting. You can download informational resources using the links below.
