PRESENTED: Greenwich Village Rezoning (10.24.2012)

Proposal Information

The Department of Education (DOE) is proposing to rezone the area surrounding a new school (02MTBD) which is slated to open in the former Foundling Hospital Building (590 6th Avenue) in September 2014; this area is part of the shared P.S. 3/P.S. 41 elementary school zone.  This rezoning effort will create a new zone for the new school during the 2014-15 school year*. 

The Community Education Council for District 2 will vote on this proposed rezoning plan at an upcoming meeting. You can download informational resources using the links below.
