The Department of Education (DOE) is proposing to rezone the area surrounding a new school (02MTBD) which is slated to open in the former Foundling Hospital Building (590 6th Avenue) in September 2014; this area is part of the shared P.S. 3/P.S. 41 elementary school zone. This rezoning effort will create a new zone for the new school during the 2014-15 school year*.
