PRESENTED: Proposal to Unzone District 5 at the Elementary School Level
In an effort to provide families with greater choice and improved access to elementary school options across the district, the Department of Education (DOE) presented information on elementary school unzoning to the Community Education Council for District 5 (CEC 5) on May 30, 2013. The CEC is considering all community feedback and may vote on a proposal to unzone District 5 elementary schools at a future meeting.
