Annual Site Visit Report 2007-2008
The Annual Site Visit report describes what the reviewers saw at the school -- what life is like there. The report identifies some of the strengths in the school, as well as areas where improvement is needed. The Office of Charter School visits each school at least once in their first, second & fourth year of operation and generates a report of findings. The State Education Department (SED) visits schools in their third year of operation. SED visit reports are not included below. Please visit their website http://www.nysed.gov/ for more information.
Monitoring Site Visit Report 2007-2008
The Monitoring Site Visit report reflects observations of reveiwers when the Office of Charter Schools conducts occasional monitoring visits at schools. Reasons can include concerns raised during the annual site visit, major changes made at the school, or simply when parents or community members raise concerns about the school. These reports allow the Office of Charter Schools to further evaluate the school and to provide the school an opportunity to demonstrate progress from the previous Annual Site Visit.

Renewal Report 2010-2011
The renewal report describes the performance of a charter school over the course of its charter on academic achievement, educational environment, financial/organizational viability, and board capacity. Findings from a multi-day site visit conducted at the school are also described in the report. A renewal report answers three critical questions: 1) Is this school an academic success, 2) Is this school a viable organization and 3) Is this school in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations? The report also contains the Chancellor's recommendation on whether or not the school's charter should be renewed and the length for which it should be renewed (up to five years). This recommendation does not become a finalized decision until it is approved by the New York State Board of Regents.
