That's So New York: Service in Schools
Service in Schools aims to engage NYC public school students in transformative community service and service-learning experiences that enable them to use their voice, skills and critical thinking to strengthen communities and to empower themselves. P.S. 335’s students are engaged in a well-known youth philanthropy program known as “Penny Harvest,” collecting pennies from fellow classmates, neighbors and those in their communities in an effort to fundraise for causes they choose to support.
