NYC Pre-K Thrive

 

This memorandum allocates funds for NYC Pre-K Thrive.

 

NYC Pre-K Thrive is part of ThriveNYC; a citywide mayoral initiative to support the mental health of all New Yorkers. NYC Pre-K Thrive will increase opportunities for children to realize their potential by building a foundation of Social Emotional Learning skills during the critical stage of early childhood development.

 

Schools listed in Table 1 will participate in a 14-week ParentCorps program. ParentCorps includes three key components social, emotional, and behavioral regulation skills that synergistically strengthen home-school connections and help teachers and parents provide high-quality environments that are safe, predictable and nurturing, and are the foundation for learning.

Allocation Summary

Schools implementing the program will be allocated funds to cover per session and refreshments for children and families. Funds should be scheduled in the allocation category Pre-K Thrive.
