New York City Three-Year Comprehensive Performing Arts Examinations - High Schools January 2010.
The Office of Arts and Special Projects is piloting Three-Year Comprehensive Examinations for Dance, Music and Theater as the culminating assessments for the high school major performing arts sequences. The performance section of these examinations for Dance and Theater will be administered at participating schools in January 2010. All high schools planning to participate should return the order forms to their assessment implementation director by December 2009 . A memo that describes the scope, administration, and scoring of the exam will accomany the order form. You can read the memos for each art form below. Students having completed a minimum of 9 credits (4.5 units) are eligible to participate in this test. This examination aligns with the Blueprint for Teaching and Learning in the Arts.
