I would like to thank Mr. D'Amato for his commitment to the student body. He has helped me grow as an individual. He guided me through the college application process, which at times seemed stressful to me. In class he teaches us many new and interesting things. His methods are extremely helpful. As a sophmmore I did not have Mr. D'Amato. That year I failed the global History Regent Exam. The following year, as a junior, Mr. D'Amato became my teacher for U.S. History. While teaching me U.S. History, he still managed to squeeze in some Globals material to help me pass my retake of the Globals Regents. All the extra help he had given me had paid off at the end because I had passed the retake exam, this time scoring 33 points higher than my first time.
