I would like to thank Mr. Fernandez for being more than just a teacher but a friend, a listener, and a guardian throughout my eighth grade year. Mr. Fernandez, also referred as Mr. Fernie, was the only teacher that I turned to when I struggled through a personal crisis. He gave me support and guidance when I needed it. Mr. Fernandez was one of the best teachers that I have met throughout my education. He taught with such passion and would help anyone who needed it. He was a clever man and always kept his students thinking about reasoning and logic. The day I received my yearbook and he signed it, I broke down in tears knowing that I had to part from someone who taught me so much. I personally think this man deserves an extreme amount of credit for not only being great at his job, but enjoying every single day of it. Mr. Fernandez impacted my life greatly and for that I am thankful that I am able to say I had him as my teacher.
