I want to thank Mrs. Gyves because she inspired me to become a Fifth grade teacher too. I will never forget the feeling that came over me when I received so many certificates at our school assembly program. She recognized all of my academic achievements and accomplishments and I felt honored that she cared and knew how much effort I tried to put forth. In part, she is the reason why I am an Assistant Principal today. She taught me how to lead with confidence. I love her and I know the five former classmates who also became teachers feel the same.
