Mrs. Jimenez has done a lot of things for me and my classmates as students and as human beings. She has taught us how to use our native language knowledge to learn English, and improve our Spanish skills too. I lost my fear to speak English because she gave me confidence sharing her story on how she learned English. She always shows us something different. We have learned how to organize our ideas, to read and analyze stories, to create our own stories, to make commercials and different type of propaganda, to search the internet to make projects, to use Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Publisher to do class work, etc. She lets us know that everyday there is something new to learn, review, and share. She gives us good advice, shows us how to behave properly, treasure our roots and values, and have high expectations. She teaches us about everything, but especially how to be a better person, how to grow up and succeed in life. For all this and more, I thank Mrs. Jimenez.
