Mrs. Krug strikes the perfect balance between positive encouragement and expectations. She's patient, upbeat, encouraging and positive but at the same time, does not let kids off the hook: there are still expectations they need to meet. She also goes beyond the requirements of what she must do as a teacher, into thinking about what each child needs to succeed in school and life. She's just one of those teachers you wish your child could have every year. She definitely deserves a big thank you for caring enough not just about her profession but also about children in general, the bigger picture.
