It was forty four years ago, in 1964 when I met my Jr. H. S. teacher who is now a professor at CUNY. I had an opportunity to honor her at a church function as the teacher who impacted my life. I found her on the internet. Her name has changed but she is still the same. Prof. Samad Matias touched my life, when she brought the Middle East to a child in "El Barrio"' (East Harlem). She is now teaching at CUNY. One of the many trips she took us on was a visit to the World's Fair. We still can't believe it after all these years.
