Ms. Olea is my granddaughter's Kindergarten teacher. She is a wonderful teacher. On our first parent teacher's day, Ms. Olea took her time explaining all of our granddaughter's achievements and the areas in which she needed extra assistance and practice. Her caring personality for the children she teaches was very evident. I also know Ms. Olea on a professional level. I assist students who live in a domestic violence shelter. When one of our parents needed a letter from her daughter's teacher (Ms. Olea) to take to court to prove to her batterer who was fighting her for parental custody, Ms. Olea went beyond her duties to write a descriptive letter truthfully stating how the child was thriving in her class. This letter may well be one of the reasons this child is in a safe environment with her mother. Ms. Olea has a wonderful teaching style as well as compassion and commitment to the children she teaches and her profession. It is a blessing Alyssa has her for a teacher!
