I would LOVE to thank Mrs. Pollack because she was such a great teacher. She basically changed my life. She was hard on us, and it worked. She was such an influential teacher. I am 21 years old now, and I still embrace the goals that I learned in that fourth grade classroom. She really made us believe in our own imaginations as young children, which is very important! For instance, she incorporated determination in our classroom lessons, and in our moral ability to achieve successfully. The students that were bad in math; she drilled continuously until they got better. The students that had difficulty reading, she made sure we were able to read a book we liked, and something that interested our souls. She spoke highly of books, and instilled the importance of reading in our everyday lives. She made me believe I could do anything I put my mind too. It is true what they say; the grace of God comes in many forms!!!
