Ms. Pooser was an inspirational teacher. She did not look for faults. Instead, she looked at my strengths. I was going through a tough time with the loss of a few family members and she was there for me. She made sure I completed assignments. She was also very enthusiastic about teaching. I remember her being dramatic and passionate about what she was doing. In fact, my sister went to Murrow and graduated in 2006. Ms. Pooser remembered me when I went to parent/teacher conference. She is the reason why I became a New York City Teacher. She is a role model, not because she is a teacher, but because she facilitated my yearn for knowledge. She molded me into a life long learner and for that I am eternally grateful.
