She taught me that having a sweet teacher is not necessarily the best thing. She was not sweet and created a level of tension, but she taught me the periodic table of elements and to this day I am grateful as a registered nurse that I had such a great teacher. She preferred to have her students learn rather than being known as a fun and cozy teacher. That is a lesson of altruism that will never be forgotten by me.
