When you first meet Ms. Savoy you get the impression that she is a firm, no nonsense teacher. However, she also has a warm and encouraging side that her students get to experience everyday. I especially appreciate all the work she has done with my son--the words of praise, providing a stimulating learning environment, and inspiring him and the other students to do their best. In addition to teaching she coordinates the school's afterschool mini-club programs and is the coordinator of the glee club. You can always find her at the school afterhours involved in one project or another or just available to talk to the parents. She is not only a wonderful teacher to her own students but an asset to the school and the entire student body.
