There are so many personable thoughts that run through my mind when I think of the student teacher and parent teacher relationship that I had with Mrs. Thompson. My daughter is a conversationalist to say the least and Mrs. Thompson was able to turn that negative into a positive attribute always encouraging Shanice to expect much and she can achieve much. While I know that she is bright, Mrs. Thompson believed in the possibilities for her to achieve high academic grades and was able to push Shanice into believing in this also. Her unwillingness to allow Shanice to be lazy and hand in unacceptable work helped keep Shanice focused and desiring to go after the 4's. I would like to take this opportunity to say Thank You to a teacher that not only gives much but expects much from her students and they give her what she expects-excellence across the board.
