Every child in Public School 6 
deserves and has a right to receive a 
quality education in an environment, 
created by the staff members, that is 
conducive to learning.
	The Administrative staff, 
teachers and parents will work 
cooperatively to provide a stable, safe 
and drug free atmosphere that fosters 
the growth and development of every 
child emotionally, academically, 
culturally and physically.
	It is expected that the student 
body will acquire academic skills and 
intellectual curiosity based on 
objectives/goals developed by the state, 
the city, the district, teachers and 
parents.
	Furthermore, it is expected that 
the youngsters will experience a love 
for learning, independence and self 
worth in a safe and caring environment 
that enhances academic potential and 
achievement.  As the population of 
Public School 6 grows together as a 
family, it is expected that cultural 
diversities will be recognized, shared 
and celebrated; that positive 
relationships will be formed and that 
students will develop into productive, 
caring citizens.
