Mission Statement:

Our purpose is to provide the students 
of P.S. 12 with  an educational
environment that fosters high academic 
standards and the principles of 
learning. These principles serve as a 
framework for the implementation of the 
standards based instructional programs.

Our educators and parents are committed 
to supporting  the efforts of our 
students toward meeting promotional 
requirements.  Our school community 
belief is that through a strong 
partnership with parents, we can ensure 
our students' cognitive, creative and 
social growth.  We believe that this 
growth is a responsibility shared by
teachers, students and parents.  The 
school will focus its efforts in
all grades and curriculum areas on the 
sequential development of the skills 
that all students need in order to 
produce high quality standards
setting work.
