The Second Annual District Core 
Knowledge  Fair was held at P.S. 12 on
June 7, 2001 (Brooklyn/Queens Day) from 
9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.  Dynamic
presenters were invited; informative 
workshops given; fantastic exhibits 
created and designed by children  
displayed; and vendors were  present to 
display materials on Core Knowledge and 
other relevant resources.

Several basketball teams have been 
formed by few staff members who serve
as the coaches for these teams.  They 
practice twice a week after school and
compete with each other during school 
lunch times.  Also, there is a
Track Team for the girls of all
grades that practice twice a week with 
the Principal and a staff member
as the coaches.
