P.S. 316 is located at 750 Classon 
Avenue between Sterling Place and Park 
Place. However, the entrance is on  
Sterling Place.  There are 
approximately 
875 students in the school. We have 
classes from Pre-Kindergarten through 
grade five. There are also Special 
Education classes in the school. We are 
located near several fine institutions 
in 
Brooklyn. These include Prospect Park, 
The Brooklyn Museum, The Brooklyn 
Botanical Gardens, The Grand Army Plaza 
Library, The Brooklyn Academy of Music, 
and The Brooklyn Children’s Museum. Our 
student population as well as our 
faculty 
represents many different cultures.
