How Would YOU Spend $3.5 Million in Your Community?
Time is running out to make yourself heard!
Deadline extended! From now until Wednesday, June 16, New Yorkers, aged 11 and up, can participate in The People's Money citywide participatory budgeting process and decide how to spend $3.5 million of City funds on projects in their communities.
All New Yorkers over the age of 11 living in any one of the five boroughs, regardless of immigration status, can vote for a range of project proposals on behalf of their communities either online or in-person at sites across the City. The project proposals, all proposed by New Yorkers last fall, cover a wide range of community needs, including afterschool programs, support services for seniors, job training, mental health programs, green space workshops, and so much more!
