POSITION:
TEACHERS FOR THE BASQUIAT PROJECT, 2024-2025
- 10-12 positions available
- Brooklyn North Arts Office
- Regular per session
- Supervisor: Joy Pace, Brooklyn North Borough Arts Director
LOCATION:
Arts Office, Brooklyn North, 65 Court Street, Room 409, Brooklyn NY 11201
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
Licensed and appointed NYCPS Visual Arts Teachers
Licensed and appointed NYCPS Music Teachers
- Instrumental or vocal performance proficiency
SELECTION CRITERIA:
At least three (3) years of satisfactory (highly effective/effective) experience within NYCPS
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Visual Arts Teacher positions
- Curriculum Design
- Planning for exhibition with the Brooklyn North Borough Arts Director
- Art installation/De-installation for the Summer 2024 exhibition
Music Teacher positions
- Curriculum Design
- Planning for performances with the Brooklyn North Borough Arts Director
- Conducting Rehearsals
WORK SCHEDULE:
- July-August 2024
- Minimum of 5 hours, but not limited to the approximate number of hours listed. Additional hours may be granted upon the approval of the hiring manager.
SALARY:
Regular per session
Contingent upon funding availability and programmatic approval.
