SY24-25 PER SESSION VACANCY NOTICE # 1445: Principal - Home Instruction Schools Fall 2024 (Division of School Leadership)

POSITION:                 

Principal – Home Instruction Schools (Up to 1 position)                     

Division of School Leadership

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:         

NYCDOE licensed and Appointed principal in District 75

NYCDOE license as a Principal of Special Education

 

SELECTION CRITERIA: 

•             Satisfactory experience supervising home instruction supervisors and teachers

•             Knowledge of home instruction program procedures

•             Must demonstrate excellent organizational skills

 

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

•             Supervise Per Session Supervisors and staff in the main office.

•             Supervise Per Session Teachers of the Homebound in students’ homes throughout the five boroughs.

•             Ensure consistent implementation of program objectives.

•             Supervise the maintenance of student records and act as liaison to Committees on Special Education and other agencies

 

WORK SCHEDULE:   

School Year: September 2024-2025

Monday-Friday, after-school – (2 hours per day) (3:45 P.M -5:45 P.M) (Approximately 400 total hours)

 

Hours up to, but not limited to the approximate number of hours listed. Additional hours may be granted upon the approval of the hiring manager.

 

SALARY:

Per Session rates as per the relevant union/organization of the advertised title (Collective Bargaining Agreement). Contingent upon funding availability and programmatic approval.
